Network Cabling Certification 

  ACP has a full range of testing equipment for certifying all segments of a local area network. For testing and certifying Single-mode and Multi-mode Fiber Optic Cables, ACP uses an Exfo FTB 100 OTDR. For testing and certifying Category 5, 5E, or 6 cabling, ACP uses the latest Products from Microtest, The Omni family of scanners.
   ACP has extensive working knowledge of many of the outdated network cable environments, such as RS232, Token ring Type 1,2 and 9, Serial and Parallel cables, as well as Coaxial RG 58,59 and 62.

FTB-100 Mini-OTDR

   The FTB-100, which hosts a single optical module offers: modularity, ruggedness, ease of use, automation, and top-of-the-line optical performance. The fast OTDR test modules generate accurate data consisting of up to 52000 points per trace for maximum accuracy. Data can be submitted for Pass/Fail testing to check against user-defined thresholds for such values as splice loss, total loss, back reflection, etc.
